Comfortable 1 bedroom w queen on 2nd floor with kitchen and a/c. Enjoy the breeze while sitting on the large, shaded porch either in your hammock or at your private table. Patio shared with apt #2 which can be perfect for 2 couples. Abbey del Sol One has four comfortable, well appointed apartments with fully equipped kitchens and many ammenities like free wireless, bikes and huge DVD library. Rent individually for couples and small families or in combination for groups and large families. Beautiful gardens, refreshing pool, hot tub and stunning Caribbean view from the roof top patio. 2 blocks to the beach and 8 blocks to the town square. "Where Travelers find a home!"

    This is the second time we've stayed at Abbey One and it's our preferred place in our preferred location (Puerto Morelos) on the Riviera Maya. We spent most of the week on the deep shaded porch enjoying the birds and the ocean breeze. We'll definitely be back, the sooner the better!

    We always love Abbey One. The perfect little spot for a couple. The balcony is a lovely spot for meals and even quiet evenings getting to know your neighbours. We met people from our home town in Ontario and linked with new friends that I'm sure we'll keep in touch with for a long time. Great spot!

    We had another excellent experience staying at Abbey del Sol recently. The facilities are consistently clean and well equipped. All staff are friendly and helpful. The little extras like bikes and DVDs to borrow are great. We appreciated the notice board with updates on special events, snorkeling trips and the time change. We're happy to say we've booked again for next year and are returning with the kids and grandkids!!

    We really enjoyed our stay at Abbey One. Morning coffee on the deck, bike rides around the town, cooling off in the pool and soaking in the hot tub before bed. Paradise! Super friendly and helpful staff completed the package.

    It's hard to find any fault with the Abbey del Sol properties. Abbey, Tiff, Jin, Freddy & Staff do a wonderful job. My only complaint is that it's not always possible to get the unit & dates you want due to popularity. If that's my biggest compaint, I'd say they are doing a fine job. A great vacation experience!

    We stayed at the complete Abbey del Sol One, using the two bedroom unit downstairs as our headquarters and the three units upstairs for additional sleeping and hanging out space, along with the rooftop deck for extra lounging.

    The facilities were perfect for our family of 13. The outdoor space around the pool was perfect for hanging out and eating outdoors. Added extras such as board games and a huge stock of DVD's made our trip even more relaxing.

    The walk into town is interesting and safe, and there's a great park where the kids loved to play; if your kids are young, make sure you bring a stroller. Take Tiff up on the offer of a tour of the Colonia as early as you can, as you'll want to go back for groceries and for that roast chicken time and time again.

    Abby and Tiff and all of their staff were wonderful, gave excellent advice and were super helpful with two medical emergencies we had. This is a wonderful place to stay and I'd recommend it to others with hesitation.
