  But does need bikes in better shape since they are necessary to get to the restaurants and shops in the center.

  When we arrived late at Cancun airport, our car had been given to another person. We took a taxi to Puerto Morales and, thanks to Abbey's staff, we found a replacement within 24 hours. Thank you!

  Abbey del Sol was recommended by a friend who had been going back for many years. After alot of research on the area and many emails to Pilar we decided to choose Abbey del Sol for our short 4 night stay. We were not dissapointed. Jin picked us up at the airport, took us shopping for food and drinks before taking us to to Abbey 1. Our apartment was just as expected. Very clean and comfortable and wonderfully appointed. Even though there was not a direct view of the ocean we had beautiful palm trees and gardens all around us. The ocean can be seen from the rooftop patio and is just a couple of blocks away. We settled right in and made good use of the bicycles they have available. It was wonderful meeting Pilar. Both Pilar and Jin made us feel like friends and helped us with anything we might of needed. I highly recommend Abbey del Sol.

  A very nice place to stay, quiet, clean with all the basic needs for our vacation. All the staff was very helpful with information and questions. The town is nice with plenty of great restaurants, a very relaxed place to visit, no hustle and bustle.

  This well run establishment lets us enter a state of relaxation as soon as we are picked up from the airport each year. The staff has always been responsive to our needs with their professional and friendly attitudes towards all their visitors.

  We enjoyed our little studio so much last year that we returned for a repeat visit this year. Location was just a short walk to beach and restaurants, apt. had all the necessary amenities, including a lovely terrace and palm trees outside the windows, making air conditioning unnecessary both visits. Abby and Tiff are gracious hosts, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. This was also a good location for day trips and overnighters to many of the sites to visit in the Yucatan.

  We were very impressed with the property. It was so well landscaped. The apt. was stocked with the basics and we enjoyed using the sharp knives. We also used the rooftop seating area to view the sunrises and sunsets. Jin, the onsite manager was professional and very helpful. We will plan another stay here during our next vacation.

  We had the best time at Abbey del Sol. The property was as described and even better. When there were some problems with the electricity at our original unit, Tiff promptly upgraded us to a different unit and made sure someone helped us move. He was an
