    What a wonderful time! We had a layed back and lovely time in Puerto Morelos. The Staff at Abby del Sol were key in making our stay so nice. They treated us like family and were always helpful. We would definitely return.

    We loved Abby del Sol. We had spent the first part of our vacation about a mile from town on a quiet beach, and we were excited to spend the remainder in town, where there's a little more action (but not too much). We looked at several places in town and Abby del Sol was our favorite. Situated on a quiet street, about two blocks from the beach, the location could not be beat.

    Abby and Tiff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When Abby showed us the rental (apt 4) we knew immediately it was the place for us. The apartment is huge, beautifully decorated, with two large bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The Wifi worked great, too. There is a hot tub and small pool in the flower- filled back yard. We shared the yard with several iguanas. When they were sick of sun, my teenagers spent a great deal of time on the comfy hammock on the deck. Abby and Tiff provide free bikes to their guests and we had a great time riding to the restaurants near the town square. This is definitely a town for "foodies".

    In addition, they have a cache of movies in the office. My children loved watching films at night before bed. Tiff put us in touch with Paco, a fantastic guide who took us snorkeling on the reef.

    I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    We arrived with two teenaged boys (not brothers) and would have preferred two twins in the second bedroom. Our fault. One boy slept on the futon in the hallway. Other than that it was perfect!

    We stayed in #4 at Abbey del Sol One. It is even more impressive than the photos depict on the web site. The apartment was spotless with everything we could possibly need. The grounds were a tropical paradise and very well maintained. The view from the rooftop deck was spectacular. A few short blocks away are pristine beaches. We will be back next year for our vacation.

    Abbey del Sol One unit 4 (the downstairs big unit) is quiet and artistically furnished with modern, Mayan and Spanish colonial themes. I've stayed there in the spring, summer and fall. All air conditioners work well and are quiet. There have been no mechanical or maintenance problems and the pool and hot tub were always very clean. Jin and Freddy were always available should a problem arise or when I needed advice. The beach is a 600 foot (200 meter) walk from the front door. Unit 4 is very private, with an essentially your own 12x20 foot (4x6.5 meter) pool and hot tub outside under the stars. I could turn on the hot tub at any time (~1 hour warm up) and adjust it to any temperature I wanted. This feature in itself beats any resort that I've been to. Also, including food and drink prices, unit 4 is 1/3-1/5 the price of any nearby resort (for the same size and quality of room) and a lot more private.

    We were absolutely happy and everyone was helpful and kind. The only problem was the time when light went off. Apparently there is a problem with the electricity company. Apart from that, everything was good.
