The staff is always available to lend a helping hand, while the property and grounds were spotless. We were greeted, and treated, as family. The owners are true ambassadors of Puerto Morelos, and all the area has to offer. Counting down the days until our next winter vacation with the Abbey del Sol gang.

Abbey de Sol is friendly, clean and the staff so accomodating. Abbey offers laundry and unit cleaning.Our time there is so good we have pre booked for the next 2 years! The vacationer age overall was approximately 45-65. Clean and secure. Can't wait to go back again!

Once again, our stay was very enjoyable, & we always felt safe and cared for. Unfortunately a member of our party was injured during our stay, and within an hour, Abbey had arranged a doctor's appointment, where we received excellent treatment. On our own, we would have not known where to find an English speaking doctor, or where to go for treatment, and were back at Abbey's to tell the tale within a short period of time. Excellent service, with a smile from the Abbey del sol team. We hope other people don't have to avail themselves of this "Abbey" service, but it was tremendous when we needed it. Peace of mind cannot be measured on any $ or rental survey scale. Mucho gracias Abbey and staff.

Jin and Tiff were outstanding. At our request, they had a 6 pack of beer waiting for us upon our late night arrival. Beach chairs and bicycles were essential to our stay in town. The rooms were clean and spacious. They were very friendly and accommodating, even offered rides. Better than staying at the resort! We'll be back!

Consider the title to my experience... I am what some call a "PT" ( perpetual traveler ) and am qualified to discuss rental experiences. In all my travels I try to secure comfort, reliability, friendliness, maintenance of the property and location to businesses. Rest assured I found all at Abbey del Sol. I was even loaned a cellular so that I could stay in contact. Bicycles, rides to and from the airport ( nominal cost ), and the nicest men and women ever. Please do not look further as they have small to LARGE units, houses, pools and only minutes from the beaches. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
