  Casa Juanita (part of Abbey del Sol) was a great place to stay in Puerto Morelos. It's quite at night, and the town square is only a short walk away. Also, the beach is practically right there, just two blocks away. As for the facilities, they were clean and well-furnished.

  We stayed 10 days at Casa Juanita during March 2013. It was just lovely. Everyone was so helpful. Tiff took us on several tours and shared his expertise on Mayan culture. I loved the yoga on the roof and this community is safe for a woman running in the morning!

  This was our fifth time to spend January & February in Puerto Morelos at Abbey Del Sol. It continues to be the town with the vacation we are looking for: peacefully quiet, wonderful food, excellent property management and friendly people. Abbey Del Sol is a professionally managed property with personal touches you only expect from a friend.

  Ideal location -- two easy blocks from the beach and a lovely 8 block walk to town. The casita was equipped with everything I could have wanted -- refrig, microwave, cable TV, terrific a/c (for Aug. weather), outdoor shower to after the beach. Within a day, the casita felt like home only better. Abby, Tiff and Pilar were warm, helpful, and resourceful -- the best!

  Recommended by the helpful folks at the Alma Libre bookstore in Puerto Morelos, we booked a 1-bedroom suite in the Casa Juanita for 8 nights in March 2012. Starting with the timely pick-up at the Cancun airport, the Abbey staff were courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. The recently renovated accomodations at Juanita were excellent: clean, comfortable and convenient. The courtyard is comfortable for outdoor breakfast, lunch or dinner. With AC, it was easy to keep the suite cool. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean, and everything worked well (stove, fridge, microwave, etc.). The bed was comfortable. The bathroom, although fully functional, could use some updating. The provided beach chairs and umbrella made time on the beach enjoyable. Tiff, Abby and Pilar were conscientious in their efforts to make our stay everything that we wanted it to be. Casa Juanita is close to the beach (3 minute, 1.5 blocks) and an easy 15 minute walk to town centre. Restaurant selection in Puerto Morelos is extensive. Grocery shopping in PM is adequate for those who want to self provision and self cater. Better and cheaper produce are available in the Colonia across the highway. If you are seeking a relaxed holiday, Casa Juanita and Abbey del Sol is a great place to start. Thank you Tiff, Abby and Pilar.

  We loved Puerto Morelos and enjoyed our time at Casa Juanita. It is the perfect way to feel comfortable exploring a new place. The unit was adequate for the 2 of us with all the cooking equipment we needed and was very clean. A bigger bathroom and a pool on site would have been nice. We loved being so close to the beautiful beach, the vegetable truck that came to the door and being able to borrow DVD's to watch at night. The bikes came in handy for quick trips for milk (or wine)too. Jin's airport pickup and stop for groceries was perfect. He even helped us find what we needed in the grocery store. We hope to be back in the spring!

  It is as simple as this. I was picked up at the airport ( charegd a very small fee ), delivered to paradise, given the room we dream of, and catered to. I had recently had surgery and when I shared this it seemed that my service soared to a new level ( I was elated anyway ). My girlfriend flew in the next day and had the same experience. Thanks to all ya'll..... We are here for a month ( at least )
